The guide will help you better compare and contrast the dimensions of the relationship when you are interviewing other planners, which in turn helps you select the best planner for you! Another benefit to our clients is that you can experience the level of service before committing to an ongoing engagement. This is important because financial planning is an ongoing process. We are confident that in setting your expectations and putting you in control of the relationship, you will be more likely to reach to your goals.

Having lived through our clients’ experiences and therefore understanding their needs, wants and desires is what sets Journey apart. Peggy McGillin, Principal and Registered Investment Advisor, has started and sold a company, raised money, and developed and launched products. She is a board candidate for CFP, has worked for innovative boutique firms on both coasts, and has extensive business experience. After earning her B.S. in Finance and Insurance & International Business at Northeastern University, she went on to get an MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Certificate of Financial Planning from Boston University.

Our approach is based on a disciplined method combined with the client’s goals and current portfolio. The most important decision is the allocation. If interested, you will learn about the merits of passive investing, the differences between index funds, enhanced indexes and Exchange Traded Funds and we will research and find the best active management if passive is not for you.
